Baryogenesis, Inflation and Superstrings
Abstract
Description
We study the conditions for successful Affleck-Dine baryogenesis in generic inflation and supergravity scenarios, finding powerful restrictions on them. String-based SUGRA models are especially interesting since they are surprisingly suitable for the implementation not only of AD baryogenesis but also inflation itself, presenting a nice solution to the $η$--problem.
