| dc.description | I show, in the framework of a SU(2)left x U(1) gauge theory for J=0 mesons expressed as scalar or pseudoscalar di-quark fields, that: - the existence, at the fermionic level, of a complex mixing matrix of the Kobayashi-Maskawa type is not a sufficient condition for electroweak mass eigenstates to be different from CP eigenstates; - unitarity constrains this phenomenon to arise from an admixture of states with different parities, and present experiments probing ``indirect'' CP violation are likely to be interpreted with P violation only. | |
